Our family is extremely grateful to have been chosen as one of the subjects for the Yousuf and Ryan Podcast Charity Events. Today we want to send a huge shout out and thank you to a group of awesome kids for raising over $1,600 for Avery’s Fight and collecting 875 cans for the Hagerstown Rescue Mission. Connor Bowers, Yousuf Qaum, Ryan Flint and Jeremy Calcarian — thank you for all the effort and hard work you put into organizing and running these two charity events for Avery’s Fight this week! I was so impressed with your work ethic and it was a pleasure working with you all. Your parents and our community should be very proud of the young men you’ve become! THANK YOU to EVERYONE who donated and thanks to all the additional volunteers, especially, Samantha Briggs, Stephen Reiter, Garrett Evans, Shannon Woiccak, Emily Slocum, Peter Sirface and Peyton Downie (sorry to anyone I missed).
